Business Developer to ABF MittSkåne

ABF MittSkåne is now seeking a full-time business developer for our office in Eslöv.

About us

ABF, the Workers' Educational Association, is Sweden's oldest study association and also the one with the widest reach in the country. ABF is a non-profit, value-driven, and politically independent organization that conducts popular education activities in all of Sweden's municipalities.

ABF MittSkåne is a local branch of ABF. The branch covers the municipalities of Lund, Kävlinge, Staffanstorp, Eslöv, Burlöv, Lomma, Hörby, and Höör. Within our municipalities, we work with popular education methods and offer cultural events and study circles in many different subjects. We also work on projects and contracted activities, and run the daily activity center ABF Mitt i Stan in Lund.

About the job

As a business developer with us, you will work closely with associations, study circle leaders, and participants. You initiate, develop, and follow up on activities.

Among other things, you will:

· build and develop relationships with associations and cooperation partners

· start and develop activities based on local or target group-specific needs

· support and inspire study circle leaders

· work with idea development for projects

We believe that you:

· share the values of the labor movement and ABF

· have experience in popular education, association life, or other value-driven sectors

· are good at building relationships and engaging others

· are proactive and enjoy turning ideas into action

· communicate well in speech and writing

· have a driver's license (B category)

It is meritorious if you:

· knowledge of the study associations' administrative system "Gustav".

· have a network in civil society

· have worked with young people or are particularly interested in developing activities for new target groups

· are used to collaborating with municipalities, authorities, and other actors.

The position

Placement: Eslöv, the work involves visits to all ABF MittSkåne's municipalities. Evening and weekend work occurs. Extent: Permanent employment, 100%, six months probationary period.
