Description

Do you want to work in a stable and developing role where you combine accounting and payroll management, while receiving support from a controller for more complex issues? We are now looking for an accounting assistant with a few years of experience who wants to become an important part of our team.


About the position

As an accounting assistant, you work operationally within the finance function and are responsible for accounting and payroll administration. You work closely with our controller, who has overall responsibility for analysis, follow-up, and financial statements while you ensure quality in the daily workflow.


Job duties

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Incoming and outgoing payments
  • Account reconciliations (in collaboration with the controller)
  • Reminder and collection management
  • Ongoing bookkeeping
  • Support with monthly and annual financial statements
  • Payroll administration (the entire payroll process)
  • Administrative tasks related to finance


We are looking for someone who

  • Has 2–4 years of experience as an accounting assistant or similar role
  • Has post-secondary education in finance (meritorious)
  • Has good knowledge of accounting and payroll systems
  • Has good knowledge of Excel
  • Is meticulous, structured, and responsible
  • Enjoys working both independently and in a team
