Process Technician for our Client in Västerås

We are now looking for an experienced Process Technician / Process Leader for our client in Västerås with documented experience of Engel machines, Mac series 20–50, in a modern and growing manufacturing operation.

You will have a key role where you are responsible for ensuring stable production, optimizing processes, and contributing to high quality, efficiency, and development in the factory.

About the position

As a Process Technician / Process Leader, you work closely with production, operators, setup technicians, and management. You are responsible for process optimization, troubleshooting, improvement work, and coaching personnel in daily operations.

The position suits you with extensive experience in injection molding who enjoys combining technology, leadership, and problem-solving.

The workplace is located in Västerås

Duties

• Responsible for processes in injection molding production
• Work with Engel machines Mac series 20–50
• Start up, set up, and optimize machines
• Ensure quality, cycle times, and production flow
• Troubleshoot production disruptions and quality deviations
• Work proactively with process improvements
• Train and support operators and setup technicians
• Participate in improvement projects in Lean / efficiency
• Ensure order, safety, and documentation

We are looking for someone who has

• At least 5 years of experience in plastic production / injection molding
• Several years of experience with Engel machines
• Very good knowledge of process optimization
• Experience in troubleshooting (short shots, burns, air traps, etc.)
• Knowledge of materials such as PP, ABS, PA, PC, TPE
• Experience in quality work and measurement technology
• Ability to lead, train, and create structure
• Good Swedish or English in speech and writing

Meritorious

• Forklift license A+B
• Overhead crane / safe lifting
• CPR / fire protection training
• Lean / Six Sigma
• Engel certification
• Previous leadership experience
