📍 Location: Sundsvall / Partial remote (up to 60% remote)

Do you want to help build the digital services of the future for an important government agency in Sweden?

We at EDGE Associates are expanding rapidly and are now looking for up to six skilled Java Developers to join our team. As an employee with us, you will step directly into an exciting assignment where collaboration, short feedback loops, and close dialogue with the business are central. You will be involved in the entire development process – from idea to finished solution.

The work is carried out in agile teams with great personal responsibility, where we draw inspiration and structure from SAFe. We focus on building robust solutions with high performance and security in a modern technical environment.

Technical environment: Java (Spring Boot), Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Vue 3, JBoss, WSO2, and Camunda.

Main responsibilities:

• System development with a focus on Java Spring.
• 
  
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and container management (Docker/Kubernetes).
• 
  
• Development of microservices and API management via WSO2.
• 
  
• Ensure operability, performance, and IT security in all deliveries.
• 
  
• Frontend development in Vue 3 and accessibility adaptation according to WCAG.

🛠️ Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a driven team player with deep technical competence and the ability to work independently in complex projects.

We are looking for you with:

✔️ Very good experience in Java development (Java Spring).

✔️ Experience of CI/CD and container management with Docker and Kubernetes.

✔️ Experience working with application servers, especially JBoss.

✔️ Very good communication skills in Swedish (CV must be in Swedish) and English.

It is meritorious if you have:

➕ Experience of TDD and BDD (e.g., Cucumber/Gherkin).

➕ Experience of Frontend development in Vue 3.

➕ Experience of API management via WSO2 and Microservices.

➕ Experience working in agile environments with SAFe as a framework.

➕ Knowledge of accessibility adaptation according to WCAG 2.1.

➕ Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Figma.
