Senior Developer in Financial AI – Fintech

Do you want to help build the financial systems of the future? We are now looking for a Senior Developer in Financial AI for an exciting assignment with a leading product company in fintech. The assignment is initially 12 months with good opportunities for permanent employment with the client.

Here you will work at the forefront of technology and develop intelligent solutions that can truly impact the Swedish financial market.

About the role

You will become part of a newly established team in Linköping responsible for the entire development chain – from data analysis to finished product. The role combines modern full-stack development with machine learning and advanced algorithm development.

You will work with:

• Development of financial algorithms and ML models
• Data processing and analysis
• Backend development in Kotlin in a microservices architecture
• Event-driven architecture (Kafka or similar)
• Frontend development in TypeScript and React
• Design of scalable and robust systems

You will have significant influence over technical decisions, architecture, and product development.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 5 years of experience in software development
• Is comfortable with multiple programming languages
• Has experience with backend development (preferably Kotlin)
• Has worked with microservices architecture
• Has experience with TypeScript and React
• Has experience with event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka)
• Has knowledge of machine learning and algorithm development
• Has a Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent
• Speaks and writes fluent Swedish
