Senior Data Scientist - AI from Research to Production

We are looking for someone who not only builds models – but can take responsibility for the entire chain, from problem formulation to deployed solution. This role suits someone with experience from advanced research or R&D who wants to work closely with real problems, data, and business.

About the role

As a Data Scientist with us, you will:

• Develop and implement advanced AI/ML models
• Work with complex datasets from real systems (e.g., sensors, production, or logistics)
• Take solutions from prototype to deployed systems
• Contribute to technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap
• Work closely with customers, product, and other technical functions
• When needed, take technical leadership in projects or initiatives

Requirements (must be met)

• PhD in AI, machine learning, computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field
• Documented experience developing advanced AI/ML systems (not only models) and taking them from research/prototype to deployed solutions
• Deep expertise in at least one of the following: autonomy, multi-agent systems, decision-making under uncertainty, or advanced sensor/perception modeling
• Experience of technical leadership with responsibility for architecture, technical roadmap, or leading technical teams/projects
• Strong programming skills and practical experience working with complex, real-world data sources and systems (e.g., sensor, production, or real-time data)

Preferred qualifications (meriting)

• Experience with distributed systems or high-performance computing (HPC)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) in production environments
• Experience working on or leading R&D projects, including research collaborations or funding
• Experience with customer-facing work, including technical presentations and demonstrations
• Experience building or contributing to complex systems that combine software, data, and/or hardware
