At Margretetorp Gästgifvaregård, we work with love for Swedish cuisine, where tradition meets a modern sense of quality and expression. We are now looking for a Pastry Chef with overall responsibility for the cold kitchen, desserts, and baking – a role with great opportunity to make an impact.

Your role

As our Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for:

  • Starters and the cold kitchen
  • Desserts – both classic and modern
  • Baking for breakfast, coffee breaks, and service
  • Developing and refreshing our offerings according to season


You become a key person in the kitchen where your work sets the tone for both the first and last impression for the guest.

Who are you?

You have an eye for detail and a strong sense of flavor balance. You understand how different parts of a menu fit together and thrive in a role where you can work both creatively and systematically.

You are confident in the kitchen, used to pace and responsibility, and consider it natural to maintain a high and consistent level – whether it's breakfast service or a fully booked event.

You have experience from a similar role, either as a pastry chef, cold kitchen chef, or cook with a focus on cold dishes and desserts. If you also have an interest in seasonal cooking and presentation, that is a big advantage.

The most important thing? That you want to help develop the experience for our guests – from the first bite to the last.
