School Nurse

Welcome to become part of the child and student health team at Hammenhög Independent School.

As a school nurse with us, you work both with individual students and with groups within the school's activities. You have an important role in preventive and health-promoting work and actively contribute to creating favorable conditions for students' learning and well-being.

You collaborate closely with guardians, educational staff, and other professions within student health, such as school doctors, school psychologists, counselors, and school management. In the student's daily life, you are a safe and significant adult who cares about each student's opportunity to succeed.

Our student health works in accordance with recommendations from the National Board of Health and Welfare, the Swedish National Agency for Education, and the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions. We use the documentation system Prorenata. Early attention and support for students in need of special support is a priority for us.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you have the authority to work with medical management responsibility.

You have specialist training in health and medical care for children and adolescents, have completed the school nurse program, or are trained as a district nurse.

We welcome experience as a school nurse, but the most important thing is your interest in the preventive and health-promoting mission and your willingness to develop work with new methods and approaches.

Other

The position is 25-30%. We apply individual salary setting. Start in August 2026 or by agreement.

About Hammenhög Independent School

Hammenhög Independent School is an independent operation in Simrishamn municipality with preschool, after-school care, and compulsory school F–6. The principal is Hammenhög Independent School economic association, where the board largely consists of engaged guardians.

We currently have about 90 students in the school activities and 45 children in the preschool.

Our operations are characterized by the keywords: nature, culture, creativity, and health promotion. We use, among other things, gardening and culture as pedagogical tools for play, learning, and development.
