Assistant Nurses for Specialised Palliative Inpatient Ward

Rehabhotellet's SPSV ward offers specialised care around the clock, every day, for patients over 18 years old. Our facilities are located at the former Karolinska Hospital in Solna, and since 2013 we have also been running ASIH activities. Our goal is to create security for our patients and their relatives through high quality, participation, and continuity.

We are now looking for hourly employed assistant nurses for summer work who want to become part of a multiprofessional team. Possibility of extension exists. Work schedules are during daytime and/or night.

As an assistant nurse on our palliative ward, you perform specialised palliative care. You participate in and plan the patient's daily care together with the rest of the team. You work closely with other professions who together strive to ensure the patient achieves the highest possible quality of life. You also collaborate with other care providers.

The operations are conducted around the clock. Documentation is done in Take Care, and registration in Senior Alert and the palliative registry.

We are looking for someone who is a trained assistant nurse and we prefer that you have a few years of professional experience. Experience in palliative care or similar is meritorious.

You must have a great interest in palliative care, the ability to see what needs to be prioritised, be able to see opportunities in changes, be solution-focused, and have the ability to provide empathetic and good treatment to patients and relatives.

Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Interviews are conducted continuously.
