Campus Service Calibration Coordinator (Life Science)

Location: GoCo Mölndal

Full-Time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, Office Hours

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Calibration Coordinator to join our team at a leading customer site within the GoCo Health Innovation City. In this key role, your focus will primarily be to manage all operational tasks within the calibration scope — ensuring alignment with customer requirements, regulatory standards, quality and strategic sourcing goals.

This position requires a seasoned professional with proven experience working with calibration and balances. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with customers, vendors and colleagues with a strong understanding of technical and compliance documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Customer-Focused Activities

· Propose and design sustainable services and workflows across the lab footprint.

· Manage waste to have minimal negative environmental impact.

· Manage all operational tasks within the Campus Service scope with focus on the calibration scope.

· Coordinate and liaise with 3rd party stakeholders.

· Be a trusted advisor for customers.

· Follow all health, security, and environment demands that are defined in the work, instructions and communicated in various trainings.

· Be involved in designing work instructions and SOPs, both for Avantor and customers.

· Participate in or lead dialogue and meetings with customers.

· Be customer-centric and proactive in suggesting improvements.

Company-Focused Activities

· Ensure alignment with Avantor’s vision, strategy, and policies.

· Operate in compliance with local and international procurement regulations.

· Contribute to the achievement of individual performance goals.

· Continuously improve procedures, tools, and sourcing capabilities.

Your Profile

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in work related to calibration, balances, ISO8655 and quality.

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in service roles (preferably from facility management or scientific services).

· Minimum completed Swedish upper secondary school diploma.

· Experience with digital calibration software, preferably related to pipette calibration.

· Proficient in Swedish (written and spoken).

· Proficient level of English (written and spoken).

· Willingness and ability to work physically (occasional lifting/pushing/pulling and a lot of walking and standing).

· Comfortable with computer-based work.

· Previous work in a lab environment with demonstrated understanding of lab work.

· Ability to speak and write both Swedish and English without any hindrance.

· Open-minded and eager to acquire new skills.
