ABF Mittskåne previously runs an LSS daily activity center commissioned by Lund Municipality.
Now we are finally opening another new daily activity center, ABF - CLOSE TO NATURE, focusing on nature, animals and creativity. We are looking for someone who wants to help start our operation!
Our premises are located in Klostergården.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being outdoors and inspiring others to enjoy the outdoors. You should be initiative-taking, and with your competence, knowledge, creativity and drive, you want to help create a really good operation.
We are looking for
You need to be well-structured but also flexible, have an administrative streak, and be able to handle many balls in the air, plan and meet deadlines. And have a strategy for your own work.
You have a natural drive to make things happen, and enjoy being outdoors and moving around. You like to inspire others.
Job duties
Our daily activities are aimed at people with various types of disabilities.
You will structure, develop and lead activities based on your competence, combined with the participants' interests. And inspire and motivate participation. Examples of activities may include gardening, creating art, making excursions, forming study circles.
You will provide social guidance.
You will document in Lifecare.
You will have contact with the participants' contact networks, and participate in meetings as needed.
You mainly work independently with the participants, but should also be able to cooperate with colleagues. Working in daily activities is a very fun and rewarding job.
Competence: knowledge and experience of the target group.
Education: Relevant education, pedagogical or care-oriented.
We are looking for someone who has many ideas and can implement them, but also can take advantage of others' ideas. It is you, with the participants' interests and wishes in focus, who will design and lead activities. Being able to support and motivate others, and create relationships in a professional context are important qualities with us. Positive and interested. Have a genuine interest in people and see their assets.
The situations you will encounter with us, and the differences in the individuals you meet, will require you to be very flexible and secure in yourself and your work. We see that you are pedagogical in your approach, low-affect and clear in your treatment, attentive, responsive and good at handling primarily your own emotions but also others'. Stable. Structured.
