Student/Class Resource - Ebba Brahe School

In fall 2017, Ebba Brahe School opened on Kvarnholmen. Our vision is to drive world-class education with a love for learning and provide our students with Sweden's best knowledge development. We have students from preschool class up to grade 9.

We are looking for a student/class resource for our fantastic team. The position involves working in a lower primary class as well as in after-school care.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has completed upper secondary school with good results. It is important that you are proficient in the Swedish language both spoken and written, and have good mathematical knowledge.

It is meritorious if you have worked with children before and have experience leading group activities with children, e.g., in camp schools, summer camps, sports associations, scouting, leisure activities, or in club activities.

As an applicant, you are a curious and open person who interacts well with students and colleagues. You are positive, cooperative, and able to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Qualities we highly value are collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. It is natural for you to be a clear leader with a big heart. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

It is important that you can follow instructions, are punctual, and respond to emails. As a student/class resource, good attendance is important, so it is meritorious if you have a reference that confirms your attendance at school or a previous workplace.

The school and Kvarnholmen

The school is located on Kvarnholmen with proximity to forest and sea. Although Kvarnholmen is primarily associated with industry, it largely consists of archipelago nature, and on the island's eastern tip, right next to the school, the existing green area is now being developed into an oasis with activities and recreation. There are good communications to Kvarnholmen, and you can get there by bus from Slussen in about 15 minutes. You can also take the boat from Nybroplan or Lidingö, which takes you to Kvarnholmen in 20 minutes.
