Primary School Teacher, Grades F-3

Strängnäs Montessori School is a parent-driven independent school located in the scenic Sundby Park in Strängnäs. We have about 600 children aged 1–16 (preschool, after-school care, and primary school) and around 100 dedicated staff. Our teaching is inspired by Maria Montessori's pedagogy and characterized by a holistic perspective on the student's development.

Your duties

• Teach in grades F–3
• Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching
• Create a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment
• Work with language development and individual adaptation
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, guardians, and student health services

• Are a licensed primary school teacher with qualifications for F–3
• Have a strong commitment to children's learning and development
• Are confident in your teaching role and build good relationships
• Are structured, responsible, and solution-focused
• Have an interest in or are curious about Montessori pedagogy
• Enjoy collaboration and want to contribute to the school's continued development

Qualifications

We are looking for you who is a qualified teacher for grades F–3, preferably with broad subject competence. The position is a permanent employment at 100%. Montessori training or experience is meritorious but not a requirement.
