Primary School Teacher 1-3, Söderhamn Friskola (Temporary Contract)

For the academic year 26/27, we are looking for a certified primary school teacher for grades 1-3 with experience as a class teacher. This position is a temporary contract for the entire academic year.

About our school:

Söderhamn Friskola and its after-school care are located in Vågbro, a few kilometers from Söderhamn city center, close to both nature and public transport connections.

The school has approximately 80 students and about 25 staff members. We are an F-6 school (but have ambitions to become an F-9 school in the future, so experience with lower secondary level is meritorious).

At our school and after-school care, we have an open atmosphere and the management team is present on site. We are all part of a team that works together to improve areas that can be improved. Working environment and staff well-being are important to us.

Role description: Class teacher planning instruction based on the curriculum, following up, evaluating, analyzing, and assessing and documenting students' knowledge development. Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that contributes to students' goal attainment and knowledge development, and building good relationships with students and their guardians are important. Also, active participation in the collegial and systematic quality work at the school. It is important that you are attentive and humble, as good collaboration with colleagues, students, and guardians is key. Good Swedish in speech and writing and good IT skills are minimum requirements as well.
