Dance Teacher for Middle and High School

We are looking for a dance teacher to teach at middle and high school levels.

In our middle school, students choose between the aesthetic profiles of music, dance, visual arts, theater, and sports. You will teach the students who choose dance.

At our high school, Stage & Perform, a school exclusively offering the aesthetic program, you will teach students who have chosen the subjects of dance technique and dance performance.

Our middle and high schools together form a school with an artistic focus, where you will be part of an engaged and competent team with several teachers in aesthetic subjects as colleagues. In performances, concerts, and other projects, we work together to support and coach the students on stage.

The position is approximately 40-50%, starting in August or by agreement.

You should be proficient in several dance styles and be able to create choreographies for school projects. If you can be a driving force in the school's productions, such as musicals, the scope of the position may increase.

Overnight rooms are available at the school if you commute from another location. We have previously had teachers from both Stockholm and Vänersborg.

Important qualities include creativity, curiosity, and an interest in trying new and exciting ideas. Great emphasis will be placed on personality, strong commitment, and experience.
