Data Engineer

On behalf of our client, we are now looking for an experienced Data Analyst for an assignment where you will be part of a cross-functional AI initiative focused on customer-facing services. You will join the Analytics and AI team and work closely with both IT specialists and business experts. The assignment involves developing a customer chat within the client's Microsoft Azure environment, with the ability to handle both general queries and issues specific to individual customers. The goal is to strengthen the client's market position by creating robust, data-driven solutions that contribute to a more sustainable energy system.

In this role, you will work on developing and further enhancing solutions based on large language models (LLM) and integrating them with existing AI agents. You will be responsible for developing and evaluating AI and machine learning models used in the customer chat, leveraging customer data such as customer, facility, and measurement data to enable more personalized responses. You will also contribute to the solution architecture design and ensure that work is documented in a way that enables effective knowledge transfer to the client organization. The work is carried out in close collaboration with developers, architects, and business in an agile environment.

We are looking for someone with solid experience in Data Science and machine learning, with particularly good familiarity working with machine learning services in Microsoft Azure, preferably related to LLM solutions. You have very good knowledge of Python and are well acquainted with relevant frameworks in ML and AI. You have experience handling both structured and unstructured data, and a good understanding of model evaluation, performance optimization, and cost aspects. Furthermore, you are skilled at explaining technical solutions in a clear and educational manner, and have previously worked with chat-based, customer-facing AI solutions. Experience from the public sector is also important, and it is meritorious if you have worked on the supplier side and delivered team solutions.

It is also positive if you have experience from the public sector or development of customer-facing digital services, as well as knowledge of MLOps and experience deploying models into production.
