Description

Sodexo is responsible for meal deliveries to Karolinska University Hospital's two units in Solna and Huddinge, an assignment of great societal importance and high complexity.

We are now looking for a Contract Manager for this expanded assignment.

The role is combined and includes two clear areas of responsibility:

  • Overall contract and delivery responsibility for Sodexo's meal delivery to the units in Solna and Huddinge. This includes overall profit and quality responsibility for the entire assignment, including total production. A manager responsible for operations in Huddinge reports to you.
  • Operational overall responsibility for operations in Solna, where you lead daily operations, staff, and working environment, supported by two directly reporting managers and specialist functions.

The organization comprises approximately 150 employees and has a turnover of approximately SEK 150 million. You report to the Business Area Manager Food Healthcare.

The assignment is in an intensive startup phase, which means you will work both strategically and operationally to set structure, working methods, and stable delivery. What you will work with:

  • Overall contract and profit responsibility for Sodexo's assignment at Karolinska University Hospital
  • Main contact with customer and responsibility for business-minded and quality delivery
  • Operational responsibility for operations in Solna
  • Management of managers and organization, including work environment and HR responsibilities
  • Follow-up on quality, finances, and development of operations
  • Ensure efficient production flows, logistics, and scheduling in a complex environment
  • Staffing – recruit, develop, and support managers and employees

What you contribute:

  • Many years of broad experience from the service industry, preferably within meals or large-scale production
  • Documented leadership experience, both formal and informal, as well as experience leading cross-functionally
  • Strong business acumen and experience in developing customer agreements and relationships
  • Good ability to build relationships with different types of stakeholders
  • Structured and accustomed to working with planning, logistics, and complex flows
  • Ability and willingness to work closely with operations and handle operational details
  • Experience leading organizations with great diversity and varying forms of employment
  • Accustomed to administrative work and using systems
  • Drive, determination, and a strong desire to develop both operations and employees

About the position

Permanent full-time employment. Working hours are mainly daytime, but some flexibility is required based on operational needs.

For this position, we will conduct a background check on the final candidate in collaboration with an external provider.

The final candidate will be informed and required to give their consent before the background check is carried out.
