Assistive Technology Trainer with Sales Responsibility

Job Responsibilities

At ICAP, you will primarily work with training, consulting, and sales towards customers such as the Swedish Public Employment Service Rehab, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, Regions, and Municipalities in southern and western Sweden.

Your main task is to independently plan and conduct trainings on ICAP's range of assistive technology and to support both professional staff and end-users in how to best use the aids in their daily work. The trainings often occur in connection with workplace adaptations, where you train individuals in using assistive technology so they can perform their tasks independently and sustainably.

The role also includes sales responsibility. You map customers' needs and development plans, present solutions and new products, and follow up on interventions and adaptations. Most sales are to existing customers, where long-term relationships and trust are key, but some new customer acquisition also occurs.

Location is in Western or Southern Sweden. We have an office in Gothenburg and prefer placement there. Driver's license B required.

Examples of other tasks:

-Planning and conducting product and user trainings

-Needs assessment and consulting for workplace adaptations

-Quotation preparation, pricing, and contract management

-Delivery, installation, and follow-up with users

-Customer visits, presenting new products, and relationship-building activities

-Participation in trade fairs and exhibitions

-Ongoing monitoring of external environment, market, and competitors

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with experience in training and/or consulting combined with sales, who thrives in a role where knowledge sharing and user benefit are central. You have good pedagogical skills and feel confident conducting trainings for both professional staff and individual users with different conditions.

It is advantageous if you have industry experience in the assistive technology field, such as in cognition, reading and writing support, communication, or similar, as well as experience working with Regions, Municipalities, or other public entities. Perhaps you are a special educator or occupational therapist by profession?
