About the job

TSG Forwarding AB is a forwarding company based just outside Gävle port. The company was founded in 1979 and was owned by the same family until it was sold in 2020, but the family continues to be part of the company in various roles. TSG Forwarding operates in all areas of logistics with a preference for shipping and containers. In 2025, we handled approximately 8,000 20-foot containers and had a turnover of 400 million SEK.

TSG Forwarding continues to expand, and in the role of accounting economist, you will be responsible for the ongoing bookkeeping, accounts receivable, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly and annual financial statements together with your colleagues in the finance department. In this role, you will also support the company's operations with structure, analysis, and follow-up, work that involves extensive contact with colleagues within the organization.

The work is mainly carried out at our office in Gävle, but with occasional visits to our other offices. Working hours are between 8 and 17.

As a new employee, you will receive an introductory training from one of our experienced accounting economists. The work will then continue with the same colleagues.

For the following tasks:

  • Ongoing bookkeeping and handling of payments, invoicing, VAT, and taxes
  • Ongoing accounting and monthly financial statements
  • Project accounting
  • Currency management
  • Analysis, forecasting, and follow-up work
  • Participate in annual financial statement work

Advantageous:

  • Relevant education or equivalent work experience
  • IFRS accounting
  • Work experience with Medius, Visma Net and Tiego
