Who is Jefast?

Jefast is a family-owned property company that has been operating in Helsingborg since 1977. We manage approximately 75,000 sqm spread across 13 properties – roughly 70% commercial tenants and 30% residential.

We are a close-knit team that thrives in a fast-paced environment with plenty of problem-solving and a daily routine where we constantly test, adjust, and improve working methods and properties. Our properties are largely located in central Helsingborg, which allows us to work close to our tenants and act quickly.

About the role

We are seeking a property caretaker/property technician with a focus on troubleshooting and more qualified actions. You take over when cases require more than daily operations: you troubleshoot, find the root cause, and remedy where possible, as well as coordinate contractors when needed.

You work independently but also closely with property managers and the operations team.

Job duties

• Troubleshooting and corrective maintenance
• Actions within e.g. HVAC/ventilation/control & regulation (and simpler electrical work that does not require certification)
• Inspection of technical installations
• Coordination with contractors and follow-up
• Documentation and feedback to tenants
• Patrols of interior/exterior environment when needed

Requirements

• Experience in property management or technical work
• Technical knowledge in HVAC, ventilation, control & regulation, simpler electrical, or similar
• Good understanding of property operations and installations
• Driver's license (B class)
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility

Meriting

• Education in property technology, electrical, HVAC, or equivalent
• Experience with fault reporting/case management systems
• Professional certification or diploma in relevant technical field
• Experience with commercial properties
