Location description:

Culligan Water Treatment Group is a family business in Uppsala that specializes in water treatment of drinking water. We plan, dimension, sell, and install equipment for private individuals, industries, communities, and municipalities. We sell Culligan products and build our own water filters under the brand VRG. Our workplace includes office staff who work as consultants/salespeople and service technicians who perform service and install equipment throughout Sweden.

Job duties:

The position as a service technician involves working practically and can be physically demanding. You will operate from our office and perform work at customer sites. You will be the company's external face and the link between the customer and our office staff. The job includes a fair amount of driving and may also involve overnight stays in other locations.

Examples of job duties may include:

• Plan jobs and pack your service vehicle based on a work order assigned by the service manager.
• Troubleshoot and repair water filters or associated equipment at customer sites or in our workshop.
• Replace existing water filters with new ones or carry out new installations of filter equipment.
• Perform recurring service agreements for service users where we manage their water filter equipment.
• Chlorinate drinking water wells and associated pipe networks.
• Conduct drinking water sampling.

Qualifications:

No previous work experience in this field is required. The most important thing for us is that you as a person are resourceful, responsible, and self-sufficient, thriving in a dynamic work environment with a high tempo. You should have the ability to handle sudden changes and responsible tasks on short notice. You are not afraid to question routines and can come up with suggestions for improvement and efficiency in administrative processes. You have excellent collaboration skills, and you should be able to take initiative and see when things need to be done.

You should have the ability to see when something can be improved or simplified. Furthermore, you are flexible, unpretentious, and accustomed to representing professionally. You can express yourself well verbally and in writing. Training will be provided on-site, and we are looking for someone who sees a future within the company.
