Cutting Torch Operator for DACO Contractor AB

DACO Contractor AB is now strengthening the team and looking for an experienced cutting torch operator for demolition of industrial structures, tanks and process equipment.

About the role

As a cutting torch operator at DACO, you work on projects where accuracy, risk awareness and production pace must go hand in hand. The tasks include:

• Cutting of steel structures, tanks and process equipment
• Selective demolition in sensitive environments
• Special cutting where method selection and execution are crucial
• Work according to established safety routines and preparation plans

You are a key resource in production where quality and pace affect the project outcome.

Working hours:

• Projects near Helsingborg: Monday–Friday 07:00–16:00
• Projects elsewhere: Monday–Thursday 06:00–18:00
• (Departure Sunday evening or Monday morning, return Thursday evening – accommodation arranged)

Employment type: Full-time, monthly salary

Profile requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Has documented experience of oxygen/fuel cutting (gas/steel cutting)
• Has experience in industrial demolition, tanks or heavy structures
• Works in a structured manner with high safety awareness (hot work)
• Has good physical condition and thrives in a high-paced production environment
• Speaks and understands Swedish or English
• Has a valid driver's license (B category)

Meritorious

• Hot Work certificate
• Experience from process industry
• Proficiency in reading drawings and work descriptions
• Experience with machinery or broad experience in demolition
