As a colleague is leaving, Hr Björkmans Entrémattor is looking for a new colleague in distribution for the team in Jönköping.

Role Description

As a distributor, you will be based at the unit in Jönköping and be responsible for ensuring that customers in Jönköping and surrounding areas receive world-class treatment and service. You will belong to a small team and work independently in your role as a distributor.

Your duties include;

• picking up and delivering entrance mats to our customers
• planning and optimizing routes to ensure efficient work
• identifying and creating opportunities for additional sales
• warehouse management (sorting and packing mats)
• care and maintenance of the distribution vehicle
• assisting with distribution in the Gothenburg region as needed

The work involves daily customer contact and requires you to be service-oriented and enjoy interacting with customers. You maintain close dialogue with production and customer service in Malmö and report changes and deviations. The work is physically demanding and requires you to be in good physical condition.

You become part of an experienced team and gain access to the equipment and knowledge needed to perform the job in the best way. The position begins with an introduction, where you learn more about the company and the tasks, and you have the opportunity to ride along and work with experienced staff.

The position is to be filled immediately and is full-time. Working hours are 07.00-16.00, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who thrives in a service role with a lot of responsibility and independent work. You are service-oriented, enjoy meeting customers, and understand the importance of good customer treatment and service. Interest or aptitude for sales is meritorious.

You have a few years of work experience, not necessarily as a distributor, and you have preferably worked in a physically demanding role before and are used to taking responsibility for your tasks. Good local knowledge is an advantage, and we prefer that you live with good commuting possibilities to the workplace. A valid driver's license (manual) is a requirement for the position, as well as good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as internal and external communication is in Swedish. If you have a forklift license for a walkie stacker, that is meritorious.

As a person, you are orderly, self-driven, and reliable, and you take great responsibility for your work. You have a high work ethic and are prepared to take on the tasks required to get the job done and keep customers satisfied. You have a positive attitude, are solution-oriented and communicative, and can handle stressful situations and time pressure. The ability to cooperate and handle changes is also important in this role.
