Skipper on archipelago boat (Arkösund)

Would you like to run your own passenger boat in the archipelago this summer?

We are looking for a captain for M/S Svanö – a classic archipelago boat with daily service between Arkösund and Harstena. You are responsible for the vessel, the guests, and the experience onboard.

Simple accommodation is available onboard if you wish.

About the position

• Daily trip Arkösund – Tyrislöt – Harstena
• Approximately 7-hour workday
• Same route every day → easy to get into
• Evening trips on some Saturdays (Aspöja)

Season: June 17 – August 23

We have already covered parts of the period → opportunity to work full-time or individual weeks

• 18 meters / 37 gross tons
• 63 passengers
• Classic archipelago boat

Accommodation

Simple accommodation available onboard:

• Own cabin (bunk bed)
• Toilet
• Simple cooking facilities

Perfect if you don't live in the area.

We are looking for someone who

• Has Watchkeeping Officer Class VIII (Restricted inland waters sufficient)
• Wants to operate their own boat and take responsibility
• Is confident in interacting with passengers

Experience is meritorious but not required.
