What can we offer you?

As a shift engineer with us, you have a key role in the daily operations of our facilities. During your shift, you are responsible for ensuring operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and according to established procedures, while leading and coordinating work together with the rest of the shift team, who operate the facilities around the clock and year-round, where we produce heat, electricity, cooling, and waste treatment.

You function as the first decision-making level during operational deviations, prioritize measures, and ensure that the right actions are implemented. The role requires technical holistic thinking, good problem-solving skills, and confidence in making decisions even in pressured situations.

You work shifts at our production facilities, which means that together with your shift team, under a rotating schedule, you vary your working hours between night, morning, daytime, and afternoon. Every sixth week, you are completely off. The variation between different shifts is significant, not only based on time of day but also depending on season and which facilities are in operation.

The role is a permanent employment.

Requirements

  • High school education, with a focus relevant to the role
  • Experience working in combined heat and power production
  • Experience working with gas and steam turbines
  • Experience working in the combined heat and power industry
  • Good knowledge of the process for power and heat production
  • Good digital skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package and mainly Excel
  • Class B driver's license
