Description

The customer places great trust in us, and your work as a security guard is important. You contribute each work shift to creating safety and security for the customer and society at large, as your work provides preventive protection against crime, improved fire safety, and much more. You will meet all residents of society, and it is important that you are clear, calm, and can make thoughtful decisions.

Qualifications

In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe, you need to meet basic requirements to be qualified for the position:

  • turned 18 before starting the assignment
  • high school diploma
  • good Swedish in speech and writing
  • driver's license B

You also need to have a clean criminal record*, be drug-free, have an orderly financial situation, and good health and physical condition to be employed at Avarn Security.

Security guard training is meritorious for these positions. Other meritorious qualifications include experience working in the security industry, certain technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments.

If you have the right profile for Avarn and you proceed in the process but do not already hold the required training (VU1, VU2), we provide your training! Security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted at BYA, the Security Industry's Professional and Work Environment Board. Participation in this is a prerequisite for employment.
