Personal Assistant - approx. 2 hours/week to be able to do fun things :)

Right now, we are looking for you who are interested in working approx. 2 hours/week starting as agreed.

The assignment is with a lovely 15-year-old boy living in Östersund. He needs some practical help mainly to be able to train at the gym, but perhaps later also to be able to do other fun activities together with you (no cost for you) With your help, life is full of possibilities! We believe a reliable guy aged 18-25 would be a good fit. The working hours will initially be on Mondays from 15:15-17:15, free of weekends, then time will tell how we possibly expand or change this plan together with you.

You will of course receive more information at an interview. 😊

Note that you MUST speak and understand Swedish well! Experience with disabilities and assistive devices is an advantage but definitely not a requirement, as one learns such things quite quickly!

That you get along well with each other is naturally most important, which you will get to try and feel when you start.

For all assignments with us, the following applies:

- thorough introduction and training before start even if you are "only" going to work part-time

- wellness allowance of 4000 SEK/year/full-time position

- regular staff meetings

- regular courses are offered as well as possible supervision with a psychologist for work teams that need it

- health check every 3rd year for those who want it

- collective agreement via Fremia - Kommunal which for you who are over 40 years old means a higher holiday pay compared to some other collective agreements for personal assistants

- parental benefit supplement

- sickness insurance

- group life insurance via Afa/KP for you and your family

Note that your application will be read by the boy and by staff at the office.

We keep your application for 2 months after which it is shredded.

About us:

PERSONAL ASSISTANCE MEDIATION has existed since 1996 and is thus Jämtland's oldest assistance company! We are located at Folkets Hus, the office building on Krondikesvägen 93D in Östersund, where we have both an office and a meeting room for gatherings/training.

We have a permit from IVO (the National Board of Health and Welfare) to operate assistance services and home care, and of course we have a collective agreement (Fremia/Kommunal) for all our staff!
