About the Job

Älvsborgs assistans is looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant. We are seeking assistants for several different users. You who apply should be calm and confident in yourself. Have a great interest in working with people with various disabilities. You should have the ability to build trust and quality of life based on the user's conditions.

As a personal assistant with us, you work together with the client manager and other personal assistants.

We are currently seeking a number of personal assistants for shorter or longer temporary positions. The temporary positions may lead to permanent positions on the schedule. Sleeping on-call duty may occur. The work will be performed with users with various types of disabilities where you will be an important part of their daily life.

All positions involve working every other weekend. Solo work occurs during most of the day.

Job Duties

• You should, based on the person's needs, provide support in the individual's daily life and work according to the person's decisions, the individual implementation plan, and routines.

• The support may relate to all aspects of life, e.g., personal care, communication, cooking, laundry, cleaning, and various activities both in and outside the home.

• Delegated HSL interventions and social documentation are included in the work.

• Collaboration with representatives and other professionals around the individual is part of the assignment.

Qualifications

• You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

• Computer skills that allow you to document

• In the position, it will be required that you have sufficient competence and skill to receive several delegations according to HSL.

Experience in care and high school education in care and nursing is advantageous.

Experience with diabetes and acquired brain injury is also advantageous. A driver's license is advantageous but not required.

Other Information

Selection will be ongoing.

A valid extract from the police criminal record is a requirement and must be shown or submitted before employment.
