We are seeking part-time substitutes and summer substitutes for Furan!

We are looking for both part-time substitutes and summer substitutes for our operations at Furan, for both our group homes and our daily activities!

Operations Description

Furan is a non-profit association beautifully situated in Bullmark and Bodbyn, outside Umeå. We offer daily activities and housing with special services for individuals covered under person category 1 in LSS, the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments. We provide our tenants with good housing where freedom and integrity prevail. The services are individually tailored so that everyone can live a life like others, regardless of functional impairment. The residences are staffed around the clock. In the daily activities, staff supervise, support, and assist the participants based on their needs in their work tasks. The staff's approach towards the tenants is characterized by joy and respect.

As staff at Furan, you support tenants with clothing purchases, dental visits, when appointments need to be kept, etc., but also serve as a link to society, for scheduling appointments, banking matters, etc. Meaningful leisure time is important for everyone, which we carefully integrate into our operations.

Job Description

As a residential supervisor/work supervisor at Furan, you are a creative team member who works towards our common goals and has a pleasant approach and attitude. The job tasks include, among other things, supporting, motivating, and helping our tenants in the group home based on their individual needs in daily life. Day, evening, weekend, and on-call duty.

As a work supervisor, you work daytime Monday to Friday.

Education/Experience

We are looking for you who enjoy working with people and think a good approach and attitude are important. We are looking for you who are secure, stable, flexible, positive, see opportunities, and have good collaboration skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Other Conditions

The operations include various types of furred animals. A car and driver's license are required as our operations are located approximately 2.5 - 3 Swedish miles outside Umeå.

A police background check is requested.
