We are now seeking teaching assistants in Logistics.
About the Job
We are looking for approximately 1-4 hourly paid teaching assistants for the academic year 2026/2027, who, as needed and by agreement, will assist course responsible teachers in logistics courses offered by the Department of Logistics and Quality Development. Work duties may involve lecture teaching, supervision during calculation sessions, assisting in laboratories, seminar leadership, and exam grading in Logistics and Supply Chain Management courses. Work duties may also include simpler forms of administration and coordination in undergraduate education as well as assistant service in research projects.
About You
To be eligible for employment as a teaching assistant, you must be admitted to higher education at the undergraduate or advanced level.
The employment is directly linked to the undergraduate courses in the area of Logistics and Supply Chain Management offered by the Department of Logistics and Quality Development at Linköping University. The employment may also be linked to research projects conducted at the department. Work duties are varied and may arise with short notice, requiring flexibility and that you are available at the university. You should also be responsible, meticulous, have pedagogical skills, and be interested in the subject area.
A requirement to obtain employment is that you can provide documentation that you are studying in the civil engineering program in industrial economics or mechanical engineering or another relevant education and have completed at least 60 credits at the undergraduate level or that you have started your studies at the advanced level. You should also have taken one or preferably several of the department's courses in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, ideally at the advanced level. Good academic results in these courses are advantageous. Teaching is conducted in Swedish, so good proficiency in Swedish is a requirement. It is also advantageous if you are studying at Linköping University and if you are available for assignments up to and including June 2027.

The Department of Logistics and Quality Development is part of the Institute of Economic and Industrial Development and offers education in both the philosophical and technical faculties. The department has a large undergraduate education mission that includes teaching in engineering programs.
About the Employment
Employment as a teaching assistant is regulated in Chapter 5 of the Higher Education Ordinance. The scope of work duties and start time are determined by agreement.
Salary and Benefits
Salary according to LiU's central agreement on teaching assistant salary. The employment is hourly paid.
