Math/Science Teacher for Middle/Upper Secondary School

Do you want to work at a small school where relationships, long-term perspective, and presence in everyday life are central? We are now seeking a certified teacher with at least 5 years of experience in the profession.

We are a F–9 school with approximately 170 students and small classes (17 students per class). The school has existed since 1998 and we have a stable staff group with an average employment period of 13 years. The principal and school manager work on-site at the school, and the principal teaches about 50% – which provides a close, clear, and fast organization.

About the Position

You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching in your subjects. The position includes mentoring and close collaboration in work teams as well as with student health. We do not have a specific pedagogical "label" – we build teaching and student work on strong relationships, clarity, and long-term perspective.
