Grodans Preschool is seeking a preschool teacher for a permanent position.

We are a small and secure preschool with 24 spots, idyllically located in Sävja, surrounded by lush nature, playgrounds, and exciting destinations within comfortable walking distance for the children.

QUALIFICATIONS:

You are a licensed preschool teacher or teacher for younger ages and well-versed in the preschool curriculum, able to implement it in daily work, and use pedagogical documentation. You have good IT skills and the ability to see everyone based on their individual capabilities.

We assume that you are goal and task-focused, have good collaboration skills, are engaged in pedagogical discussions, and have the ability to work both independently and in a group. You are curious about children's learning environments and learning processes and are professional in your interactions with children, colleagues, and guardians. We are looking for someone who is creative, attentive, flexible, proactive, and responsible with a positive outlook and good communication skills.

WORK TASKS:

As a preschool teacher, you work based on current governing documents, planning, implementing, documenting, and developing the pedagogical activities together with the rest of the work team. With the curriculum as a base, you choose methods, content, and approaches based on each child's knowledge, experience, and specific conditions. You work to create a safe, fun, and educational preschool. Collaboration with other staff is another important task, as the work around the children is done in teams. You are willing to drive both your own and the preschool's development forward. Your work is characterized by clear respect for the individual and good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. As a preschool teacher, you have the overall responsibility for the pedagogical activities in accordance with the curriculum's guidelines.
