Childcare Worker

Linneabacken is a cozy and forest-close preschool in Lindome that has just taken a new step — we have been converted into a parent cooperative and are now seeking engaged educators who want to be part of shaping the new Linneabacken.

With us, Montessori pedagogy and outdoor pedagogy meet in an environment where the forest and outdoor space are a classroom. We are a small workplace with great continuity, many of our educators have been here since the preschool was founded in 2014.

We are now looking for a childcare worker for the Vätten department (3–5 years) who wants to be part of this team.

About the preschool

We have two departments: Knyttet for the youngest children (1–3 years) and Vätten for the slightly older ones (3–5 years). The premises are bright and spacious and are located in Spinneriet in Lindome with the forest literally around the corner. Ranked second highest among Mölndal's preschools in GR's survey for 2026.

Our pedagogy rests on three pillars:

This job involves

You work in the Vätten department with children aged 3–5 years. Your days are filled with care, play, movement, and learning in an environment where you truly know each child.

🌿 Documentation of children's learning and development

🌿 Participation in the systematic quality work

🌿 Close collaboration with parents — who in a cooperative have an extra active role

🌿 Contribute to building up the new cooperative together with colleagues and the board

We are looking for you who

🌿 Have education as a childcare worker or equivalent experience

🌿 Enjoy being outside and see the forest as an asset

🌿 Are calm, secure, and low-affect in meeting the children

🌿 Thrive in a small workplace where everyone knows each other

🌿 Have your heart in the right place — you see the competent child and meet it with respect

Meritorious: Experience with outdoor pedagogy or low-affect approach. Having worked in a parent cooperative is a plus.
