Riding Teacher

Kristianstad Riding Club was founded in 1946. We are a non-profit association consisting of about 300 members. Our facility is located in Hammarslund, an oasis situated a stone's throw from the city center with good bus connections and bicycle paths. At the facility, there are the riding school's approximately 30 own horses and ponies, as well as about ten private stables. The riding school provides instruction for both beginners and competition riders and also has a well-established program for riders with functional variations.

At the facility, there is a riding arena 20 x 60 m, a riding arena 12 x 18 m, and two illuminated outdoor riding tracks. In the lush birch forest, there is our 2 km long galloping track. We also have a jumping field with natural obstacles a short distance from the stable.

We now need to expand our work team and are looking for a new riding teacher.

We are looking for you who have an education in hippology, SRL II or higher, or have equivalent knowledge and experience. To thrive with us, you as an applicant should have very good pedagogical and social skills and a strong interest in development. Your focus is to teach students at different levels and appreciate working at a riding school. A focus on jumping is meritorious. We also prefer that you have a B driver's license with extended authorization, or a BE driver's license.

Our operations are constantly evolving, and you need to enjoy working in a flexible organization where the content of the position may change over time. You are responsible and can work independently, while also being a good team player and valuing working together in a team. Naturally, you have a burning interest in horses and equestrian sports, and you put the student and the horse in focus.

The position includes:

• Instruction for children and adults, from beginners to training groups
• Training and education of our horses
• Stable duties

Employment rate: 70 - 100% as agreed. Service during day, evening, and weekends according to schedule. A 6-month probationary period applies. There is a collective agreement (Fastighets). Start date at the turn of July/August or as agreed.
