Principal of Skogsgläntan and Äventyret Preschools and Preschool Teacher

The company Childcare/ABC Childcare AB is seeking for a shared position: Principal for Skogsgläntan Preschool and Principal for Äventyret Preschool, as well as preschool teacher.

We are looking for you who are trained as a principal and a licensed preschool teacher with good leadership qualities. You should have worked as a leader/principal and have solid experience in this.

You will work 20% as principal at Skogsgläntan Preschool and 30% as principal at Äventyret Preschool, as well as 50% as a preschool teacher in a child group at Äventyret Preschool.

Skogsgläntan Preschool is a small single-department preschool located in Sävja, and Äventyret Preschool consists of 3 departments with age-divided child groups and is located in Valsätra.

As principal, you have responsibility for staff and operations. This means you work close to the operations and, together with the work teams, develop and follow up the pedagogical work. This occurs, among other things, through continuous guidance to work teams and individual employees. You conduct employee meetings and collaborate with guardians. The role involves leading the education towards national goals and shaping the preschool.

We also want you as an applicant to have good ability to collaborate with employees, guardians, and other colleagues within the company Childcare in a trustworthy and professional manner.

You are accommodating and attentive but also clear in your communication. You place great importance on keeping up with research and sharing your knowledge and experiences.

You are self-sufficient and can plan your work in an efficient way. You are confident in the role as pedagogical leader, have a coaching approach, and are good at creating participation and engagement.

As a licensed preschool teacher, you are a driven person with great commitment and a professional approach. You are well-versed in the preschool's governing documents and can translate the curriculum's goals into practical work in the operations. Accustomed to working in a structured manner and using pedagogical documentation to analyze and reflect on the work together with colleagues and children.

We assume that you are goal and mission-focused, have good collaboration skills, are engaged in pedagogical discussions, and have the ability to work both individually and in a group. You are curious about children's learning environments and learning processes and are professional in your interactions with children, colleagues, and guardians. We are looking for you who are creative, attentive, flexible, proactive, and responsible with a positive outlook and good communicative ability.
