CNC Operator

About the Position

In the role of CNC Operator, you are responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC-controlled lathes and milling machines to ensure efficient production with high and consistent quality.

You work based on drawings and technical documentation, perform tool changes and adjustments, and follow up and inspect manufactured components using measurement techniques. When needed, you troubleshoot and address deviations in production, as well as perform programming or adjustments in CNC programs.

The role also involves responsibility for daily machine maintenance and working proactively to maintain order, safety, and quality in production.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you are meticulous and have a strong focus on quality in everything you do. You are technically interested, solution-oriented, and enjoy taking responsibility for your work. The role requires that you can work independently but also collaborate well with colleagues in production. You are flexible, adaptable, and have the ability to handle changes and new tasks in a professional manner.

In addition, we would like you to have:

• Post-secondary education in industry/technology or equivalent experience
• Experience working as a CNC Operator
• Good knowledge of drawing interpretation and measurement techniques
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience with CAD/CAM, preferably Fusion 360
• Experience with more advanced CNC programming
