About the Position

PMA is seeking one or more PLC programmers for our team at the office in Fjälkinge.

You will work on developing and programming automation systems for industrial machines and robot cells. The role involves participating in the entire project process – from programming and testing to commissioning and optimization at the customer site.

The work is conducted in projects together with technicians, developers, and project managers where you collectively develop efficient automation solutions for industry.

Travel for work occurs within Sweden and internationally.

Job Duties

The role includes, among other things:

• Programming and configuring PLC systems
• Developing automation solutions for machines and robot cells
• Troubleshooting and optimizing existing automation systems
• Conducting tests and commissioning
• Documenting programs and system changes
• Participating in project meetings and contributing to technical solutions

Qualifications

Requirements

• Experience with PLC programming in industrial automation
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal
• Experience with programming, simulation, troubleshooting, and commissioning

Advantageous

• Education in electrical engineering, automation, or mechatronics (vocational college or university)
• Experience with HMI programming
• Experience with Beckhoff
• Experience with SCADA systems
• Experience with industrial high-level languages
