Service Manager at Wahlmans

We are looking for someone who enjoys people and is ready to go the extra mile to ensure a satisfied customer. You have experience in a service profession in a café/restaurant or shop. Enjoy when the pace is occasionally high and have passed the age of 20.

With us, the work is varied with all the tasks found in a café. You work with an amazing team that helps and supports and is pleasant to work with every day. We assist each other and are a close-knit group.

We work daytime and close at 5 PM on weekdays and work every other Saturday when we close at 3 PM. On rare occasions, we may also have events at other times. Of course, we have a collective agreement but also care greatly about our employees beyond that. We can imagine you working at least 75% or more. Typically, the schedule is 4 days + 5 days rolling. Depending on knowledge, there is a good opportunity to also work in the kitchen

If you are ambitious with a desire to learn more, there is the possibility of a supervisory position with more responsibility. We are open to all possibilities and our wish is that you want to be in a supervisory role directly or after a period of on-site training.

A bit about us at Wahlmans

We have had a functioning business that we built from the ground up and started in 2015. With our owner background as farmers, the raw materials have always played the biggest role. We put a lot of effort into sourcing from local suppliers and have the ambition that everything we serve is prepared here on-site and as locally as possible.

With us, there are three pastry chefs/bakers (one on parental leave). One chef and three in service. In addition, we have extra staff on weekends and afternoons as well as during the summer when we are more than 15 people.

We have a wood-fired oven bakery and a good kitchen in a fantastic turn-of-the-century environment right in the center of Hedemora. We have received several awards at the SM in Mathanverk that we are proud of. Over the years, we have become a travel destination and are where we are today largely thanks to all the fantastic staff we have and have had.
