Crane Truck Driver for Crane Exchange in Northern Stockholm

Powerbuild Nordic AB is looking for a motivated, responsible, and skilled colleague for our crane exchange operations. We work with crane truck transports, load carrier transports, garden installations, construction, advanced tree felling, and training. We have two major corporate clients that we work for about 80% of the time, while the rest of the time we work for private villa customers or smaller companies. We typically work in Sollentuna, Danderyd, Täby, Järfälla, Upplands-bro. Mostly in the northern suburbs but also south of Stockholm.

The crane truck is in excellent condition, purchased in 2020 with about 19,000 miles, leather upholstery, and is a tridem, 530 hp Mercedes Arocs (3253) with a Palfinger 34tm crane + 6tm jib and a 17-ton Palfinger exchange unit. It has a 500L bucket with removable forks. Very pleasant to drive and work with, like driving a Mercedes S-Class on the job. We always aim to provide the best and safest working environment for our employees, which is the company's hallmark. We ensure ongoing dialogue about safety within the company. This vehicle features active emergency braking for pedestrians and cyclists.

Currently, we have a driver operating a similar vehicle to the one you will drive, so you will receive solid backup regarding the vehicle and get tips and advice on most driving, loading, unloading, and all aspects related to the work.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a responsible, thorough, and handy employee who preferably has experience driving crane trucks, crane exchange units with buckets or jibs, and is not afraid to do some minor mechanical work. By minor mechanical work, we mean simple tasks like changing lights, wiper blades, mounting jibs and buckets. Possibly replacing a hose if one breaks, etc. No work involving warranty or CE marking is performed by the company's employees.

We prefer that you have an interest in motors, construction, mechanics, or technology, as the job offers a bit of everything.

Having a CE license is beneficial but not mandatory since we only have one trailer. If you later want to obtain a CE license, we can assist with this as we have a location where you can practice driving with a trailer.

If you have a chainsaw license and experience with tree felling, you will be highly prioritized among interested applicants since we frequently use the crane truck for tree felling. We also have a saw for the crane.

Preferably, live on the northern side of Stockholm so we are close to the truck, as it is based and operates from Upplands-bro.
