Do you want to work in a central role where you combine traffic management with active sales and business development? We are now looking for a driven and business-oriented traffic manager who wants to be part of developing our operations in demand-responsive and school transportation.
About the Role
In this role, you have overall responsibility for both traffic management, planning, and sales. You work operationally with daily operations while actively developing the business by creating and maintaining customer relationships.
You are responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and profitable traffic. You serve as a key person in the collaboration between customers, drivers, and internal functions.
Job Responsibilities
- Operational and strategic traffic planning and traffic management
- Daily problem-solving related to traffic, vehicles, and staffing
- Main responsibility for the implementation and quality of demand-responsive and school transportation together with our other team members
- Planning and coordination of school transportation in dialogue with municipalities and guardians
- Active Sales: Proactive contact with existing customers and new customers
- Conduct customer meetings and build long-term business relationships
- Prepare quotations and be responsible for bookings
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in collaboration with the sales manager and operations manager
- Coordinate operations to maximize occupancy, efficiency, and revenue
- Ongoing contact with municipalities, guardians, drivers, customers, and system managers
- Be a representative of the company and contribute to high quality and strong trust
Qualifications
- Experience in traffic management, planning, or similar administrative role
- Experience in sales and customer responsibility is highly meritorious
- Experience in school transportation or work with municipalities is meritorious, as is demand-responsive transportation
- Good system proficiency and high digital competence
- Business-driven with the ability to see opportunities and create profitable solutions
- Good communication skills and experience in building relationships
