Operational Production Role - Technical Preparation

About the Role

We are seeking a technical preparer for our production in Visby.

This is an operational role where the focus is on making the work function in daily life, article by article.

You work closely with production and are responsible for ensuring that documents, drawings, and files work in production.

It is a role for you who enjoy working in a structured, meticulous manner and ongoing collaboration with our production and other functions within the company.

This is what a day looks like for us as a technical preparer

A typical day involves working structuredly and making the flow work from documents to finished files for our production to produce.

You start the day by reviewing incoming documents. This may involve customer files or drawings that need to be created, adjusted, supplemented, or adapted to work in production.

During the day, you work continuously with:

• preparing and checking files and documents
• ensuring everything is correct before it moves to the next step
• creating drawings or adjustments directly in our systems (Illustrator)
• creating files and documents in our internal systems ready for production

It is work where details play a big role, the pace varies but tasks need to be completed and you will work in parallel with multiple articles and customers.

A large part of the job involves getting each article right from start to finish

You have daily contact with the quality department, production, and you need to be available, solution-oriented, and meticulous in what you do.

Job Duties

• Prepare and manage production documents
• Work with customer documents in Illustrator
• Ensure that files and drawings work in production
• Make adjustments and adaptations for manufacturing
• Work closely with production and solve problems in daily operations
• Follow up and ensure quality in execution

You need to be comfortable with work that is repetitive, detail-focused, and involves close collaboration with production.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience working in production, preparation, or similar
• Experience working structuredly with documents or files
• Basic technical understanding
• worked closely with production previously
• experience with technical drawings or CAD
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator (requirement)

The work takes place on-site at our factory in Visby.
