Security Guard

Are you a flexible team player who enjoys working in the security industry?

To succeed in this role, it is important that you are meticulous, punctual, and take responsibility. You enjoy collaborating, are humble, and have the ability to quickly adapt to different situations. Additionally, you are fluent in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and are skilled at writing reports.

As a patrolling security guard, your primary task is to deliver safety to our customers—mainly at industries, offices, and workshops—by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft, and damage. You report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often feels free, but with significant responsibility. Working hours are mainly at night.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older

• High school diploma

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

• Driver's license B

• No criminal record, drug-free, have an orderly financial situation, as well as good health and physical ability

Advantageous

• Security guard training is advantageous, but we also provide training for the right person.

• Previous experience from the security industry, technical knowledge is a plus.

• Previous experience with both stationary security and service work

Since you will be working in a relatively small team, it is important that you enjoy collaborating while having the ability to work independently.

Employment type: Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period

Employment rate: approx. 75%, can be discussed

Working hours: Day/Night/Evening and weekends

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.

All personnel at an authorized security company must be approved through assessment regarding law-abidingness, civic reliability, and general suitability. For approval, the authority's assessment of a person's law-abidingness and civic reliability shall involve obtaining information available in the criminal records or suspicion registers or processed by the Security Police under the law on police processing of personal data within the crime data law area.
