Treatment Staff for HVB Sörmlandshem

HVB Sörmlandshem is a treatment-oriented HVB home with five places for boys aged 13–17 years. The operation is staff-intensive and conducts structured 24-hour care with a focus on everyday treatment, motivation, and relationship work. The residence is located in a quiet, rural environment outside Julita, between Katrineholm, Vingåker, and Eskilstuna.

Job Duties

As treatment staff at HVB Sörmlandshem, you work closely with the youth in their daily lives. Job duties include, among others:

• working as a contact person
• supporting youth in daily routines, social development, and structure
• conducting motivation work and relationship-building work
• participating in daily activities, physical activity, and leisure
• documenting and following up on interventions according to current routines

Treatment work is integrated into daily life and occurs throughout the work shift

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Education as a social educator, treatment educator, or leisure educator
• Experience working with youth in need of support and structure
• Experience with documentation/record-keeping
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing
• Class B driver's license

Merits:

• CBT Treatment Therapist/Addiction Therapist
• Experience working at an HVB home
• Knowledge in TMO, ICDP, MI
• Experience from youth centers, schools, student assistant roles

Personal Qualities

We are looking for you who are secure and stable in the adult role, have good collaboration skills, and enjoy structured and relationship-oriented work. You are responsible, patient, and can work both independently and in a team.

Working Hours

The work follows a schedule and includes afternoons/evenings as well as sleeping on-call duty. Evenings, nights, and weekends occur.

Other

The workplace is located rurally with limited communication options. A driver's license is therefore a requirement.
