Team Leader in Foster Care // Gothenburg

About the Role

As a team leader, you are the link between the operations manager and the daily work of foster care consultants. You support, supervise, and ensure quality, but you are also operational and handle your own cases to a limited extent. A central part of your mission is to early identify risks in ongoing placements and work preventively to reduce breakdowns.

You will, among other things:

• Supervise and support foster care consultants in complex cases
• Follow up on placements and contribute to structure and quality in the team's work
• Identify risk signals early and initiate preventive measures
• Report back and collaborate closely with the operations manager
• Drive method development and improvement work

We are looking for you who:

• Are a social worker or have another relevant university education
• Have experience in foster care and work with placed children and youth
• Have a natural ability to supervise, build trust, and hold a team together
• Work in a structured and solution-focused manner in situations that require good judgment

Meritous:

• Experience in work leadership or a coordinating role
• Training in supervision of foster homes or Signs of Safety
