Your own teaching is conducted in Swedish, but among colleagues, we speak English/Swedish. We are now seeking a teacher in crafts and home economics with a Swedish teaching license. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date in the fall of 2026. A probationary period applies for the first 6 months. Job Description You will be part of a work team with both special education teachers, special- and subject teachers and will need to work in teams around specific students but independently when required. We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for students in their lifelong learning. You have a Swedish teacher degree for crafts and HKK for grades 4-9 and a Swedish teaching license. You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to incorporate the curriculum goals into your work. You have clear leadership and stand strong in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a present and co-researching educator who challenges and stimulates students to development. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you. You have a straightforward and humble communication with guardians and build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You should be positive and cooperative and prepared to be part of an international team. In your role, you teach in Swedish, but among colleagues, we mainly speak English but also Swedish. This means you need to master both languages fluently, both spoken and written.
