Childcare Worker in Parent Cooperative on Part-Time (>50%)

About Us

We are a small, family-friendly parent cooperative preschool in Ektorp, Nacka, with around 15 children aged 1–5 years. The operation is characterized by a sense of community and curiosity with a focus on the children's language development, free play, and creativity. Daily outdoor activities in forest and nature are an integral part of our everyday life. We work in smaller groups and place great emphasis on secure relationships between children, educators, and our guardians, who are also involved in the cooperative.

Job Description

As a childcare worker, you will participate in the daily educational activities together with the work team. The tasks include, among others:

• Working with children's language development.
• Leading smaller groups of children with a focus on each child's needs.
• Contributing to a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for the individual children.
• Planning and follow-up of the educational activities.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who are responsible, can work independently, and are comfortable with outdoor activities in nature. You should be familiar with the preschool curriculum.

About the Employment

• Working Hours: at least 50%, with good opportunities for extended working hours in the operation.
• Salary Range: 150-168 SEK/hour (equivalent to approximately 24,000-27,000 SEK in full-time terms), based on experience and education level in accordance with the collective agreement

Qualifications

• Language: Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Work Experience

• Previous experience working with young children (1-5 years)

Meritorious

• Childcare worker education or other pedagogical education
• Possibility to work extended hours (more than 50%)
