After-School Teacher at Duvboskolan

Duvboskolan is a municipal preschool to grade 6 school with approximately 370 students. The school has a calm and pleasant climate with high satisfaction among students, guardians, and staff. The school's results are very good. Through, among other things, the school's relatively small size, we have good and close collaboration among colleagues.

We are now seeking an after-school teacher.

As an after-school teacher, you will be involved in the after-school program on a unit and be part of a work team. Your tasks include, among other things, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the activities. You are responsible for ensuring that the activities complement the school and offer our students meaningful leisure time and support in their development.

We are looking for you who:

• Have a teaching license for after-school programs, or an after-school education/other pedagogical education.
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.

Meritorious if you have:

• Knowledge of low-arousal approaches.
• Experience working with children and adolescents with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD).
• Completed training in NPD.

You have the ability to build good relationships with students. You are a safe adult and a role model. You are engaged, flexible, have patience, and a solution-focused approach. You have good collaboration skills. You are good at communicating and cooperating with students, colleagues, and guardians to achieve set goals.

The position is a permanent full-time employment. Probationary employment may be applied.

Start date 8/10 or as agreed.

The position will be filled provided that no changes occur within the operation.

Prior to employment, the employer will request that you show an extract from the police criminal record.
