We are a small and personal preschool with 25 children aged 1–5 years, located in a very pleasant facility in Vasastan. The work team consists of three childcare assistants, two preschool teachers, and a kitchen assistant. We are now seeking a new colleague as one of our valued employees is retiring this summer. Here, you will meet an engaged team that enjoys working together, has fun on the job, and continuously develops the operation.

About the Operation

Movement is a prioritized area for us, and a large part of the education takes place outdoors – year-round and regardless of weather. We regularly go on outings to nearby parks and green areas, getting there through active walks. Each day, we offer planned movement activities, such as Bamsegympa, obstacle courses, yoga, and various movement games.

Joy, engagement, and care permeate everything we do. We work thematically based on the children's interests and place great importance on the children's influence in daily life. Our core values always have a central place in the operation.

We have two inspiring ateliers where we work both planned and exploratively. Here, we create opportunities to integrate language, mathematics, and natural sciences through creative creation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have documented childcare assistant education and a genuine interest in the profession. You have experience in systematic quality work and are used to documenting, reflecting, following up, and developing the operation. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills. You are well-versed in the preschool curriculum and work together with colleagues to drive pedagogical development forward.

About Us

Preschool Tårtan is run as a parent cooperative (economic association), where the pedagogical responsibility lies entirely with the staff. We have engaged guardians and a present principal who also works in the daily operation.
