Preschool Teacher for Troll Forest Preschool and After-School Club
Description
Troll Forest Preschool and After-School Club is a small parent cooperative preschool/after-school club, located in the beautifully natural Skrävle. We are situated in the midst of nature and spend a large part of the day outdoors—on our grounds and in the nearby forest and fields. We have our own kitchen where all food is prepared from scratch.
With us, you get to work in a positive environment, with small groups of children, currently divided into 1-3 year olds, 4-6 year olds, and after-school club.
Troll Forest is run as a parent cooperative where the educators manage the operations and the parents support and handle the administration.
Our operation is dynamic, and here you have great opportunities to influence and shape the activities.
We are now seeking a substitute preschool teacher.
We are looking for you who are a trained preschool teacher, are driven, flexible, engaged, and full of ideas. You are responsible and confident in yourself both as a person and in your professional role and can take on significant pedagogical responsibility. As an educator, you plan, document, and develop the preschool's pedagogical activities in accordance with the goals in the curriculum, the preschool's governing documents, and maintain close dialogue with your colleagues, children, and parents.
You have close dialogue with your colleagues, children, and parents. You enjoy working in a group and find it easy to collaborate with both colleagues and parents. In a pedagogical and inspiring way, you create good conditions for the children themselves to explore and learn.
If you have previous experience with cooperative operations, it is advantageous.
You need to have a driver's license and access to a car as public transportation is limited.
As we are a small, close-knit staff group, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
