Internationella Engelska Skolan in Kista is a dynamic and growing F-9 school with an international atmosphere. We are a bilingual school that follows the Swedish curriculum. We are now seeking a dedicated and certified teacher for the primary grades who is passionate about laying the foundation for students' learning journey.
The position is a permanent employment with start in August 2026 (begins with a six-month probationary period).
In the role as a teacher in grades 1–3 with us at IES Kista, you have a particularly important mission: to be part of our focus on language development and the national reading-writing-math guarantee. We place great emphasis on the Swedish language as the foundation for all learning.
Your main tasks:
- Plan and conduct teaching with high engagement and clear focus on basic skills in Swedish and mathematics.
- Create a safe and stimulating learning environment where study peace is a given.
- Follow up and document students' development.
- Collaborate with colleagues, student health, and guardians to promote the student's entire school journey.
We are looking for you who is a secure leader in the classroom. You understand the importance of structure and clear expectations, while meeting each student with warmth and respect. You have a special ability to make the Swedish language lively and interesting in an international environment.

- Are a certified teacher with qualifications for grades 1–3 in all subjects.
- Have a strong focus on early reading and writing acquisition as well as basic mathematics.

- Are well-versed in Lgr22 and work data-driven to achieve knowledge goals.
- Have good digital competence (we work in Google Workspace and SchoolSoft).
